In the artistic works of the Song Dynasty, the lotus holds a unique position. The blooming and closing lotus, symbolizing innocence, aligns with the Song people’s pursuit of Buddhahood and transcendence. The Lotus Plate captures the layered petals of the lotus, exhibiting a delicate luminosity and a naturally unfurling grace.
Fulfillment Landscape Plate
The Landscape Plate features a stacked landscape pattern, capturing the exquisite beauty of mountains and rivers depicted in the Song Dynasty’s “Thousand-Mile Rivers and Mountains” painting. Crafted from raw materials sourced in Ruzhou, agate infused in the glaze, meticulously hand-shaped, bisque-fired, glazed, and fired at 1300 degrees Celsius. A testament to the artistry of time and temperature.
