Design Inspirations
The desktop small flower vase is inspired by the classic vase shapes from the Song Dynasty. The Song people cherished flowers and enjoyed arranging them, ensuring that every household had its share of blossoms. Reducing the traditional flower vase to a petite, handheld size, preserving its elegance while making flower arranging more convenient. With a single flower vase, life is adorned with blossoms, illuminating every corner with various vessels and flowers.
Classic Vase Shape
Yuhuchun (玉壶春) : Replicating the Northen Song Dynasty’s renowned Ru Kiln “ Yuhuchun ping ‘bottle’,” a poetic expression from the Song era, “Yuhu Fortelling Spring.” This phase has bestowed the vase with it exquisite form.
Mei-ping (梅瓶): Transforming a former liquor vessel into a flower container, endless elegance abounds. Named for its bottle neck resembling a plum blossom branch.
Pomegranate Vase (石榴瓶): The pomegranate symbolizes auspiciousness, abundant harvest, and longevity. The vase, with its rounded and adorable shape, is highly ornamental and enjoyable to behold.
Hua-gu (花觚): A type of original-style bronze ware, solemn and classical, with a tall and slender body. When paired with a cluster of blooming flowers, it exudes a graceful and enchanting charm.
Zhe-jian Vase (折肩瓶): The shoulder-sloping form, akin to the beauty of a graceful lady’s shoulders, boasts strong yet gentle lines, encompassing a sense of grandeur.
